The Centre for Teacher Professional Development & Excellence (TPDEX) wishes to inform all eligible students that applications for the May鈥揂ugust 2026 Teaching Practicum are now open.
The application period will run from 18th September 2025 to 3rd October 2025, and all applications must be submitted online through the TP portal available at tp.ku.ac.ke
ELIGIBILITY
| Category | Practicum Course | Who Should Apply |
| Group 1 | Teaching Practicum I (ECT 213) | All 2nd Year Bachelor of Education students |
| Group 2 | Teaching Practicum II (ECT 301/341) | All 3rd & 4th Year Bachelor of Education, Diploma, and PGDE students |
Students are required to log in using their KU student corporate email, carefully read all the instructions, and then complete the application form. As part of the process, applicants must upload the required documents in PDF or JPEG format, with each file not exceeding 2MB.
It is important to note that the application system can only be accessed through KU student corporate emails. Any student experiencing login difficulties should promptly seek assistance from ICT Support.
