Following the successful training sessions held from 1st to 12th September 2025, where many students were guided on creating and accessing ICT e-Resources, it has been noted that some students did not attend or complete the exercise.
To ensure that every student is fully equipped for a smooth academic experience, the Directorate of ICT has organized an additional training program as outlined below:
Dates: Monday, 22nd September 鈥� Friday, 26th September 2025
Venues: Student Computer Centre (SCC 003) and Business Student Services Centre (BSSC) Lab
Target Group: All newly admitted students (September 2025 intake) who have not yet completed ICT account activation and sensitization
Focus Areas:
- Corporate Email Services 鈥� Email retrieval and access procedures, 2-step verification setup, and security best practices
- Student Portal 鈥� Accessing academic information, registering units online, fee payment through the eCitizen platform, and managing holds, among other services
- ICT Support Help Desk 鈥� Submitting support tickets, retrieving responses, and tracking ticket status
- Eduroam 鈥� Retrieving username and password, configuration, and certificate installation
Attendance to this training is highly encouraged, as the above services are essential for your academic activities at the University.
