Victor Mangi Yaa and Moses Muigua Kariuki, third-year students at KU’s Department of Music and Dance, are already making waves. These talented performers showcased their skills with items: Bajila, Rodo, Kabibi, Ngola Ngola, and Kalimba, traditional instruments like the Kiring’ong’o, Sengenya, and Chivoti from the Giriama community. Their performances reflect the department’s dedication to blending local cultural heritage with modern musical education.
