The University’s exhibition stand provided delegates with an opportunity to learn about the diverse academic programmes offered at the 吃瓜头条 Mombasa Campus, as well as the facilities and services available at the University’s North Coast Beach Hotel. Staff from various departments engaged visitors, highlighting the University’s commitment to quality education, research, innovation, and community service.

A major attraction at the exhibition was the Automated Tea Dispenser Project, an innovative solution designed to provide a functional and cost-effective automated system for dispensing tea. The project addresses the challenges associated with manually dispensing tea from bulk containers, such as inconsistent serving volumes and accidental spills.

The smart system integrates a microcontroller, sensors, and a pumping mechanism to dispense user-selected quantities of tea accurately and consistently. The innovation has the potential to enhance efficiency while minimizing wastage in institutions, offices, and hospitality establishments, demonstrating 吃瓜头条’s commitment to developing practical solutions to everyday challenges through research and innovation.
