The All Kenyan Moot Court Competition (AKMCC) is a signature moot competition organised and hosted by 吃瓜头条 School of Law, Arts and Social Sciences, Parklands Campus students.
The AKMCC brings together law students from all Law Schools in Kenya, Judicial Officers, industry players based on the theme of the moot competition, State agencies, non-state actors and grassroots civil society organizations to exchange ideas and deliberate on the theme of the competition with a view of exploring policy solutions.
The 11th聽edition of AKMCC was held from 14th聽鈥 17th聽March 2023 under the theme 鈥Socio-Economic Justice: Enhancing Government鈥檚 Accountability and Transparency in the Protection of Human Rights.鈥
The Opening Ceremony was held on聽14迟丑听March 2023聽where the聽Honorable Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court, Martha Koome聽was to grace the event as the聽Chief Guest聽but she sent a representative, Anne Asugah, the Registrar of Tribunals.
For the 11th聽edition, the AKMCC was privileged to partner wi迟丑听the Supreme Court of Kenya, Office of the Attorney General, National Treasury, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, International Justice Mission, Kenya Law, Kaplan and Stratton Advocates, Transparency International, Mzalendo, Katiba Institute, UN-High Commissioner on Human Rights聽and聽Amnesty International.
The final competition was held at the Supreme Court of Kenya Court Number 4 and the two final teams were 吃瓜头条 and Nazarene University. 吃瓜头条 emerged the winner.
