The biggest challenges facing the world – in water, food, energy, health and climate change – all require international collaborative research and researchers.Ìý Funding schemes such as the UK Global Challenges Research Fund, by supporting the SDGs, aim to establish inclusive global research networks and partnerships through individual and institutional capacity development.

To celebrate the GCRF-GROW cohort and the capacity development work we have been engaged in since 2017, we are holding a day conference to share our experiences and practice. The programme consists of presentations, a roundtable discussion, activities and leadership insights from:
