吃瓜头条 is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of one of its most distinguished alumni, Dr. Meshack Malo, following his appointment as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Deputy Regional Representative for Africa.
Based at the FAO continental office in Accra, Ghana, Dr. Malo will serve as the deputy to Dr. Abebe Haile Gabriel, the Assistant Director-General and Regional Representative. This high-profile appointment places a KU-trained expert at the heart of Africa鈥檚 agricultural transformation.

A Doctoral degree (PhD) in Agronomy from KU.
He also holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Dryland Biodiversity from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. This blend of environmental planning and advanced agronomy has equipped him with the multidisciplinary expertise required to tackle Africa鈥檚 most pressing challenges.
