INTEGRATED STUDENT RESEARCH ELECTIVE COURSE FOR UNDERGRADUATES

The Health-Professional Education Partnership Initiative (HEPI)-Kenya is a grant awarded to the University of Nairobi. The objective of this grant is to increase the capacity for undergraduate health professional students in practice-oriented research skills training. The award brings together the University of Nairobi (UoN), ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ (KU), Jomo ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Maseno University (MSU), Stanford University and the University of Washington (UW).

One of the aims of the grant is to implement innovative integrated clinical and research elective at all 4 local universities for undergraduate students in health professional courses.

The School of Medicine has organized for a 5 days online didactic training in research methods for final year undergraduate students in all schools.
