Entry Requirements

This programme is offered by the School of Education and Life Long Learning. 吃瓜头条 Postgraduate Diploma in Education entry requirements shall apply.

Mode of Study and Delivery

The Department of Educational Psychology offers units to support the programme throughthe Continuing Education Programme (CEP) and the Virtual and Open Learning (VOL) modes of study.

Campus mode:听Main, City & Mombasa听听

Intake for VOL Mode:听September & January of every academic Year

Intake for CEP Mode:听September, January & May of every academic Year

Course Duration: One and a half Years听

Evaluation

The course will be evaluated as follows:

A minimum of two CATs scored out of 40% and the University examinations scored out of 60%. Total score shall be 100%. Pass marks is 50%.

The following units are offered from the Department of Educational Psychology to support the programme:

EPS 700: Introduction to Educational Psychology

EPS 701: Developmental Psychology

EPS 702: Psychology of Teaching and Learning

EPS 703: Educational Measurement and assessment

EPS 704: Guidance and Counselling
