Doctor Of Philosophy (Ph.D. In Educational Psychology)

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet the following academic requirements:

  1. The common regulations for the Doctor of Philosophy degree of 吃瓜头条.
  2. The common regulations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the School of Education and Lifelong Learning.
  • Be holder of a Master of Education degree of 吃瓜头条 or its equivalent from a recognized institution of higher learning. iv. Must have covered at-least five (5) Units at M.Ed. level in the area of specialization with a B and above or equivalent grade.
  1. Must show ability to undertake academic research in the area of specialization.

Mode and Structure of Delivery

The programme is offered throughthe regular (full-time) mode of study.

Programme Duration: Three years

Evaluation

  • All courses shall be examined at the end of the semester in which they are taken.
  • The continuous assessments shall constitute 50% and examinations 50% .The pass mark shall be 50%.
  • Any Student who fails to satisfy the board of examiners in one or two units in any one semester shall be allowed to take a supplementary examination in the failed unit. Students who fail in more than two units in any one semester shall be discontinued.
  • All students will be required to write a thesis (equivalent to 8 units) and defend it at the Post-Graduate School.
