The admission requirements for admission to the diploma in hearing health (hearing health technician) are specified below:

听Entry Requirement

1. Candidates wishing to study for the Diploma in Hearing Health (Hearing Health Technician) shall have obtained a mean grade of at least C (Plain) at KCSE and passed subject clusters as indicated or their equivalents;

English or Kiswahili/Kenyan sign language C+ (Plus)

Biology C+ (Plus)

Mathematics or Physics C (Plain)

2. Candidates with disabilities shall have obtained听a mean grade of at least C (Plain) at KCSE and passed subject clusters as indicated or their equivalents

English or Kiswahili/Kenyan sign languageC (Plain)

Biology听听C (Plain)

Mathematics or Physics听听C- (Minus)

(b) Alternative Entry Requirement

Applicants with a minimum of C- (minus) with a certificate passed in fields of study related to hearing health from a recognized institution.

听Mode of study and duration

Campus of Study: KU Main campus

The program shall be offered in the following mode:

• Face-to-face (full-time),
• Blended
