CERTIFICATE IN HEARING HEALTH (HEARING INSTRUMENTALIST)

The admission requirements for admission to the certificate in hearing health (hearing instrumentalist) are specified as below:

听Entry Requirement

  1. Candidates wishing to study for the Certificate in Hearing Health (Hearing Instrumentalist) shall have obtained a mean grade of at least C- (Minus) at KCSE and passed subject clusters as indicated or their equivalents;

English or Kiswahili/Kenyan sign language C (Plain)

BiologyC (Plain)

Mathematics or Physics C- (Minus)

2.Candidates with disabilities shall have obtained听a mean grade of at least D+ (Plus) at KCSE and passed subject clusters as indicated or their equivalents

English or Kiswahili/Kenyan sign language C- (Minus)

Biology听听C- (Minus)

Mathematics or Physics D+ (Plus)

Mode and duration of study

The program shall be offered in the following mode:

  • Face-to-face (full-time)
  • Blended

听听Duration1 year

Sensitivity and responsiveness to the plight of every person with hearing loss and impairments by equipping trainees with knowledge, skills, and attitude to lead and manage comprehensive hearing services for optimal participation in society across the life course.
